Friday
We arrived at the Cooper's house at around 4pm, and were the first to arrive.
Waiting in the gator for people to arrive:
Jack posing in front of our campsite:
My family. :)
After midnight is when the fun began. After a game of The Name Game, the weather turned freezing. I'm not sure how cold it was, but it felt about 40°-50°.
Savanna and Luke on the trail:
Nevertheless, five of us guys (Ryan, Levi, Andrew, Joel and myself) walked down to an open field to watch shooting stars. We then went to our own little camp area, and stayed up until about 4am eating chips and talking around the campfire. Getting into my warm sleeping bag was glory. :P

Saturday
Soon after breakfast, we played volleyball before heading to the Croswell cardboard boat races.

Watching the Croswell cardboard boat races:
We had a large boat with a "Viking" theme. Most of the younger kids in our group raced in it, and therefore, the boat began to deteriorate. I had no plans to ride in a boat, but one thing lead to another, and us guys decided to race as Vikings!
Some of our younger Vikings:
There were 8-9 of us, and we were tipping from the very start. Hundreds of people cheered; wanting us to sink. We made it through the race alright, but once we passed the finish line, we sank! It was so much fun!
Ele, Levi, myself and Amanda with unique expressions:
Six of us guys (Levi, Andrew, Ryan, Joel, Jacob, myself) stayed behind and went to McDonalds. I got Frozen Strawberry Lemonade, and it is indeed one of the best-tasting drinks I've ever had.
Jacob and I stayed up until Sunday morning (past 7am) walking around and talking. We discussed nearly everything; movies, books, people, sports, our beliefs, testimonies, past experiences, and anything else we could think of to pass the hours. ;)
Jacob will either love me or hate me for posting this picture. ;)
Sunday
Jacob and I were so tired! We had a church meeting, and I closed my eyes several times during that time. However, it didn't help. I had an inner-tiredness that required hours of sleep. ;) (After the trip, I sleep for about 16 hours to catch up on sleep!)
Seth and I in the woods:
Bre, Ryan and Ele's smiles are just perfect:

Getting ready to leave:
Apparently, Ryan loves me...
Before this summer began, I expected the season to be a bore. However, I've gone on a 3-day Cedar Point trip, my brother's wedding, a week in Indiana for a Youth Conference, a 3-day camping trip and my brother-in-law's wedding reception in a few weeks. Oh, how I have been blessed! God is good all the time!
God bless, J.J. Biddinger
