Here's how this works:
1. Do quick post about the person that tagged you saying thanks
2. Follow 3 new blogs and list them.
3. Answer the 10 questions
4. Tag someone else
5. Challenge one person to do something fun or crazy
1.I'm supposed to "blog" about the person who tagged me. Kevin (KevinWegnersBlog) is a dear friend of mine who I haven't seen since... mid-October. He's generally really boring, likes hunting, and sits around for most of the day... kidding. ;) He's a fun and cool person that I hope to see again soon. :) Thank you, Kevin.
2. I haven't followed any new blogs lately... perhaps AmyWegnersBlog, BuurmaBoy101 and KatieWegnersBlog, but those we are few weeks ago.
3. Answer all these questions:
Have you ever been to a rodeo?
Actually, yes. It was part of an Alert Cadet program when I was 8-years-old. I remember laughing with my friends at how boring it was. ;)
Have you ever tried to ride a cow?
Not a chance...
Have you ever milked a cow or goat?
Neither... don't plan to either. :)
Have you ever been to a demolition derby?
No; I have not.
What's your favorite country song?
I've never really listened to one, and have no desire to. But, if I had to pick one, I'd probably say "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" by Samuel Francis Smith. ;)
Do you like to hunt?
Never been hunting, and honestly, it looks totally disgusting. :)
Have you ever cooked your breakfast over an open fire in your backyard?
I'm not quite sure why I'd want to.
Have you ever thought that the muck was shallow and when you stepped in it, you sank knee deep?
*sigh* These are so random questions... I'm sure that I have, but it's not exactly something I'd remember.
What is the hardest thing you have ever done?
This is a very tough question. I really don't have an answer to give.
What's one of your most embarrassing moments?
Okay, okay. I've never written this on my blog, but I've told it in real life. It's by far the biggest regret of my life; it's sort of a funny one, though. ;) To help you visualize this, I've created an image to work with it.
On my sister's wedding day, I was an usher, and that included walking grandparents down the isle. There were 350+ people in that auditorium. I have such a vivid memory of it. We hadn't rehearsed where to put the grandparents, so I walked down the isle unknowingly. There was a place I was supposed to put them, but instead I went around the pew! (See image; here's the key.)

As you can see above, the red line gets a lot smaller around the "star". We had to squish through between the musicians and front pew to get to the second pew. I can still see the look on Nate's face as I tried to squeeze by him. It was such an embarrassment! We got through it alright, but it was awful. On top of that, I didn't smile the whole way down or up the isle! :)
4. I'm going to tag: Lucus (Warrior for the King), but anyone can do this. Doesn't it look like so much fun?! (Not.)
5. Here is my challenge. This year, I've started reading the Bible through in a year. It's is such a great thing to do. I did it a few years ago, and then didn't last year. I stopped with the excuse, "I don't like being held to a schedule. This way I can just read whatever I choose." That quickly turned into reading very little at all. If you can, I challenge you start reading the Bible this year (it's not hard to make up a few days). Very little is more important than God's Word.
Psalm 119:11: "Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee."
Proverbs 7:2-3: "Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye. Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart."
God bless, J.J. Biddinger

Is it just me, or did you seem bored? lol haha well, I had to tag somebody! I couldn't think of 6 people!
LOL... yes, I was bored, in a way. I'm guessing it was because most of the questions were about hunting or farm life, and that bores me. ;)
All I can say is...wow. :D
So funny, J.J.
:D
Haha, your "embarrassing moment" was soooo funny! I'm sure I'd something like that too!
Are you always this sarcastic??? :D
~Amy
I bet you riding a cow is lots of fun. Haha!
oh my, you are so average American. You need to get out and live a little. Riding and milking cows and hunting, you don't KNOW what you are missing. lol
Nice update, JJ!
That bit about the usher thing is pretty funny!
Good challenge, thanks!
ttyl. :)
Nice job J.J.!
lol I don't remember seeing you do that at the wedding! :D thats funny.
Good post!
Come on J.J.! Get a life =) In all honesty, I think you need to step out of your little box...Perhaps you should take a trip and come to spend some time on the farm ;) Hey! it could totally work! You don't live too far from us actually =)
BTW, I am also doing the "Read Your Bible Through the Year"...In years past, I have also tried to do it but I never get very far...Should we keep each other accountable?!
Have an awesome day!
Josh
Josh, I'd love to! We could email each other every (few days?) (week?), writing down what we read and maybe some thoughts about the chapters. Feel free to email me at: JJfortheKing@gmail.com. :)
Thank you all for the marvellous comments! ;)
